Sounds like something out of a horror film, right? KTLA reports that 8 Orange County residents were anonymously receiving porcelain dolls this past month, that surprisingly resembled each one of their daughters.
The dolls were placed on the doorstep of each of the homes, without a note.
The story gets even creepier! All of the girls, around the age of 10 attend school together. The parents were freaking out thinking that there was a creep watching their daughters and it started to get very disturbing.
The O.C. residents called the police who investigated and wasn’t sure if this was some sort of prank or if specific families were targeted.
Come to find out, a woman who attended the church that all these families went to, cleaned out her doll collection and decided to be generous and give each one of the young girls a doll. She thought that these girls would enjoy them. Aww a sweet old lady trying to be nice! Still no word on why she didn’t leave a not or something.
